Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Qualithics collects through qualithics.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to visitors in the United States, Canada and elsewhere.

Who we are

Qualithics provides AI governance training and consulting. We operate the website at qualithics.com from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and are responsible for the personal information described here. What we collect

Governance Compass. The assessment runs in your browser, and your answers stay on your device while you complete it. If you ask for your full results by email, we collect and store:

• your name, work email address, and business name
• your answers: country, state or province, city (optional), industry, company size, and how your organization uses AI and manages compliance
• any optional notes you type in the free-text box (please do not include personal or confidential information there)
• the result we calculated, and a record that you agreed to receive it

Booking a call. If you book through our Google Calendar link, Google processes the details you enter, such as your name, email address and any message.

Emails you send us. If you write to us, we keep the correspondence.

Collected automatically. Like most websites, we receive technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and referring site. We use Google Analytics to measure how the site is used, which sets cookies in your browser. On forms, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that you are a person and not a bot, and may process your IP address and browser signals to do so.

We do not use advertising pixels and we do not sell your personal information.

How we use it

• to email you the report you requested
• if you ticked the consent box, to contact you about AI governance training and services that may be relevant to your organization
• to respond to your enquiries and to deliver services you ask for
• to understand how the site and the assessment are used, and to improve them
• to protect the site against spam, abuse and security threats

Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on your consent (for the report and for follow-up contact) and on our legitimate interests in running and securing the site and understanding how it is used. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Marketing emails and unsubscribing

We only send you marketing about our services if you gave consent. Every email we send tells you how to stop: reply "unsubscribe" or write to info@qualithics.com and we will stop contacting you. Emails that deliver a report you requested are not affected by a later unsubscribe request.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the site and our business, and only as needed:

• Google: Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Calendar and Apps Script, which we use to store assessment submissions and send emails) and Google Analytics
• Cloudflare: DNS and the Turnstile bot check
• Amazon Web Services: website hosting

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, or in connection with a sale or reorganization of our business. Our providers are located in, and may process data in, the United States and other countries, so your information may be transferred outside the country where you live. These providers handle your data under their own privacy policies and terms.

Cookies and analytics

Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect usage statistics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works without them.

How long we keep it

We keep assessment submissions, enquiries and related correspondence for as long as they remain useful for the purposes described above, and we do not set a fixed deletion date. We delete or anonymize your information when you ask us to, when you withdraw your consent, or when we no longer need it. We may keep some records longer where the law requires it. Analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics settings.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and access to the records we store is limited to people at Qualithics who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, such as those under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA and provincial laws), the laws of US states such as California, or the GDPR and UK GDPR, including the right to object to or restrict processing and to complain to your local data protection authority. Email info@qualithics.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

Our services are for businesses and their staff. The site is not directed at anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Third-party sites

Our site links to services run by others, such as Google Calendar. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the most recent revision, and we will note significant changes on this page.
